GD PROFILER HTP - a new analytical tool for the characterization of heat-treated layers

The glow discharge spectrometry (GDOES / GDS) will be as a powerful method increasingly being used in assessment and analysis of heat treatment processes. This spectroscopic method is generally faster than the usual metallographic methods, thus increasing sample throughput and efficiency. It is an ideal tool when hardening, nitriding or nitrocarburizing is used. The hardening to use optimized for GD-PROFILER HTP glow discharge, the chemical composition of steels and alloys to determine the input control, but also for process monitoring and assessment are used. It can analyze compound layers that determine the diffusion of metals and nonmetals to surface layers of the treated workpieces.
HORIBA Jobin Yvon, a leader in innovative instrumental analysis and spectroscopy is, in its wide range of systems for elemental analysis, as a result of continuous product development, the GD-PROFILER HTP before.
The rapid penetration of surface layers, the adaptation of the basic multi-element capability of GD-PROFILER HTP to the specific needs of analysis in the heat and the stored calibration methods lead to a fully optimized device.
